A little bit about us…

About Jen: From the time I was a baby, I was surrounded by animals and gardens. I still remember picking up baby chicks from “the grain store” and snacking on raw green beans straight from the garden. The idea that you could walk outside, pick something fresh, and eat it on the spot felt magical to me.
I grew up on a small farm in New Hampshire where we raised dairy goats, rabbits, chickens, ducks, a few dogs and cats and the occasional uninvited skunk. Just up the road, my relatives had 50 acres of land where we grew all kinds of fruits and vegetables. I learned so much from those early experiences but I know there’s still so much more to learn.
About Trent:
Growing up, my parents and I would visit the local flower nursery pretty often. While they looked around, I found myself drawn to the plants and how everything came to life there. Eventually, I ended up working at that same nursery—and stuck around for a number of years. It was hands-on, and I learned a lot.
At home, we kept a family garden where I helped grow all kinds of plants. I built raised beds and set up a full irrigation system, it became a real passion project. I’m happy I have a farm of my own now.
Thanks for being here. I’m looking forward to sharing more of our story with you.

About Ollie:
I dig holes (sometimes where I’m not supposed to), chase bugs, and proudly serve as the official taste tester and security.
Occasionally I get in the way, but most of the time my humans just laugh it off. I take my job seriously…especially the part where I nap in the sun and patrol the garden like it’s my kingdom.
